Movie Challenge Competition 2016

The winner this year was AVS Movie Makers, Altrincham
with their film -“K to M”.
The film shows
65 year old Richard  making a multi-day walk and swim across Scotland..
Richard shot the  film
entirely on GoPro cameras.
The picture shows Eric Flowers from Altrincham being presented with the first place award by Warren Hulme.

Third place was awarded to Burnley Film Makers for their film “Behind The Scenes At H.A.P.P.A”.  A look at the daily routine and hard work that goes on at a pony sanctuary.

The competition was first held in May 2008.   Entry in the competition is open to any club  in the IAC North West Region with a limit of one entry per club and not longer than 20 minutes. The provisional date of the 2017 competition is Thursday, 25th May.

Poynton and Stockport Movie Makers came second with their film “Jiapur’s Gems” - a film showing the incredible sights and buildings of Jiapur, India.
(The club was unable to send a representative this year to receive their award).
